摘 要：

The uncertainty principle is one of the few extraordinary features distinguishing quantum theory from classical ones. It reflects the limitation in acquiring the information of different physical properties of a system simultaneously. It is realized that the uncertainty relation has profound impacts on many aspects of quantum information processing, including quantum metrology, entanglement detection, quantum cryptography, etc. This talk will present a state-of-art development in this regard, the generalized uncertainty relation, which debuts in very recently and is far less mature.

报告人简介：

乔从丰，中国科学院大学首批长聘教授。 1996年在北京大学获博士学位，曾先后在中国高等科学技术中心、德国汉堡大学理论物理研究所、日本广岛大学、麻省理工学院理论物理中心、中国科学院大学等进行学术研究。现为中国空间引力波探测“太极”计划联盟秘书长，科技部引力波探测重点专项总体专家组成员，Results in Physics主编，《中国科学院大学学报》和《现代物理知识》副主编。主要研究方向为粒子唯象学及量子理论基本问题，在国际核心期刊发表论文150余篇，主持国家基金委重大研究计划项目、重点项目、面上项目和中科院先导专项项目等，曾获北京市有突出贡献的科学、技术、管理人才，周培源物理奖和中国航天贡献奖。
